Our Tardy Policy
Since November 9, 2009, any tardy on the Carlmont campus results in a detention. As an administrative team, we have seen an extreme decrease in tardies to class; as matter of fact, we regularly see students RUNNING to get to class on time in order to avoid a detention. While the detention list has grown, it has also set a very strong tone on campus.
What are your feelings regarding this new policy? Do you feel it is effective? Should it continue?
